Your current quarantine calendar
It hasn't been easy keeping you in The Loop about Copley happenings since life was given the snow globe treatment and what's able to happen has changed, but that doesn't mean all the happenings have stopped! In fact, here's what we've got going for this week:
- Wednesday, April 15, from 1:00 - 2:00
- Join the Copley Chamber of Commerce for a Zoom Webinar! This is Part One of a three-part series to help small business owners identify key statistics in their businesses, how to manage their finances moving forward, and opportunities that may be available to grow their businesses over the next few years.
- Thursdays - Saturdays from 2:00 - 7:00
- Did you know that Wolf Creek Winery offers more than just wine? They added mixed drinks to their offerings a while back and they can now make those mixed drinks to go!
- Sunday, April 26
- Weitzel's Whimseys Apiary & Gardens officially closes. If you want to visit her shop after April 26th, you'll have to wait until May 23rd and then head down to Colquitt, Georgia.
- Sometime soon...
- If you need a mask, you can purchase through Traveling Juniper and arrange a porch pick-up at The Sassy Sunflower. They're just $15 and for each one sold, another will be donated to Akron Children's Hospital!
- No time like now
- Enjoy your new quarantine theme song! The Baker's Basement is a dynamic duo from Cleveland that performed at the Copley Creekside Farmers Market in 2018 and 2019. There may be no farmers market happening in Copley in 2020 for you to enjoy them in person but you can still watch the band's new song, At Least 100 Things to Do Inside a Quarantine, on YouTube!
- Anytime at all...
- Karen Elvin is a retired art therapist and is looking to paint scenes in the Copley area, possibly an old barn or a lovely garden - something meaningful to you or to the township. If you have the perfect spot (or even the perfect picture of a spot!), please contact her at 300-819-5186 or via email at karenroseart@roadrunner.com.
