You Know the Word…

This week happens to be one of those weeks when I look through the events and one word just pops into my head and I can't shake it back out. That word is (you guessed it) "community".

Yes, I know, I use that word A LOT, but check this out...

There's tickets on sale now for the Empty Bowl fundraiser for Copley Outreach, the Bond Levy Informational Meeting tonight (if you miss it, don't worry - click on the event listing for the date of the next one!), and the Heritage Day meeting and open houses at the police and fire department facilities tomorrow.

That's a fair number of ways to get engaged in your community in just one week!

PLUS, I've got shoutouts for three Loop Members (you know, those people who give our Looper Community something worth subscribing to) who recently celebrated anniversaries.

Those smiling faces and your reading eyes are why I do what I do, making sure our friends and neighbors that work so hard to run their business can connect with the people looking for them, eager to show their support.

People like you.

So, sure, I might overuse the word "community" at times, but you know what? I'm ok with that.

I have yet to find another word that fits.
