The Day to Get Engaged

This Thursday appears to be quite the evening for Copley community engagement!

First up, at 5:30, the Architectural Review Board (ARB) is meeting to walk Copley Circle and talk about architectural visions for the future of development in the Circle. The community is invited to walk with them for a wonderful opportunity to get the inside scoop on what's in the works!

Then at 7:00, a group of residents will be meeting at Sportsmen Park to discuss reviving the Copley Homeowners Association (CHA).

The CHA was originally formed in 1978 and focused on zoning, land use, and township services. There haven't been meetings for the past several years but interest has picked up as of late! All Copley residents are invited to come by, learn more, and be a part of the revival from the (current) very beginning.

And as someone with a prior engagement Thursday evening, to anyone who attends either (or both), I say thank you and invite you to send me an update afterward!

Cleverly-Named Member Shoutouts

Meanwhile, we're here today with shoutouts to two of our many good members to know. One's an anniversary, one's a welcome, but both are aimed at helping with the later stage of life and both have very clever names!

The anniversary is The Extra Daughter, a senior concierge service with one of my all-time favorite business names because that name just nails exactly what they provide - extra daughters.

Well, and sons, too, but you get the point.

They have a goal of "Helping older adults like their kids would, if they could." They'll provide companionship, transportation, home repairs, and more, all as if they were family. And that's awesome.

You know what else is awesome? The name "Human Interest" for "an affordable 401(k) platform focused on helping small business start and maintain a high-quality retirement program."

See what they did there? I do love a good play on words...

But in plain ol' straight-forward words, what they do is pretty awesome, too, because I know a lot of small businesses and I don't know that a lot of them have 401(k)s.

So welcome, Human Interest - we're happy to have you in The Loop!
