Something for Everyone…
Some weeks, there's just so much news that I hardly know how to fit it all in! This is most definitely one of those weeks, and with a little something newsie that's fit for everyone. All I can do is do my best, hit the highlights, and trust you'll click as you see fit!
So, here goes...

First up, some new member news! We're excited to give a warm welcome to Boot Barn, our soon-to-be spot for all your western wear needs. They'll be opening on Rothrock Road in Montrose in the coming months but for now, they need people to get it ready!
Boot Barn is currently hiring for Assistant Store Manager, Receiving and Inventory Specialist, Sales Associate, and more. I'll be keeping tabs and updating their open positions on the Employment page each week, of course, but you can always go straight to the source for more detailed information and to apply.

Next, we have two-in-one news with two big announcements regarding this year's Heritage Days events!
The committee is thrilled to be kicking off this year's Saturday, August, 6th, festivities with the Inaugural Copley Heritage 5K - Presented by Absolute Fitness (click here for more info and to register). Not only is this a great opportunity to improve your physical fitness, but it's also a great opportunity to strengthen your community since all proceeds will benefit the Copley Outreach Center.
And, why, yes, it does happen to finish up in time for you to hit the Pancake Breakfast afterward if you so choose...
Meanwhile, if you know someone who has already done more than their fair share to strengthen the community and deserves to be recognized for it, you have until June 10th to nominate them for the new Paul Janos Community Impact Award (click here for more information and the nomination form). The Copley Chamber of Commerce will be presenting this award as part of a special new event that Saturday evening.
And, yes, there will be details announced soon about that special new event, and it just might involve tastings of local beverages, but we'll have to save that news for another announcement on another day...

Because before we wrap up the news for this week, there's a little something I've noticed that I'd like to point out to all you parents of young children out there.
It's summer camp sign-up time!
It hit me this morning as I was sending out a special app message to our Looper Community Subscribers for a deal on summer camps from Challenge Island of Summit-Medina. So I started clicking around...
I found more summer camps available from Absolute Fitness and Spring Garden Waldorf School, not to mention the Youth Soccer Camps sponsored by the Boys' High School Soccer Team and the Arrowhead PTA Summer Garden Camps.
There's a little something for every kid in those camps, and there's a little something for everyone else (and the kids, too) in the list of Happenings below - keep scrolling to find that something for you!
