Shoutouts & Heads-Up

Feelin' all the community feels this week as I look at those three shoutouts and one heads-up that I'm aiming to throw out to you today - something about that diverse grouping just makes me happy! In it, we have:

  • Westfield Bank, a community-based bank on Smith Road where you'll find David Merk - Retail Manager, AVP, and all-around nice guy.
  • eFriendly, a particularly friendly full-service IT company that provides support for small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Rhythm & Roots Farm, a first-generation, 17-acre family farm, raising pastured poultry, pork, and more.
  • And the upcoming Copley Car Show, a huge event that draws interest from all over the state.

Maybe the something that makes me happy about that grouping is that there are easy ways for any of you to engage with any of them.

There's the obvious, of course - need a bank, an IT company, some local pasture-raised meats, or a fun day of checking out cool cars? There you have 'em!

Other ways? Head to a Copley Chamber of Commerce Monthly Member Meeting and you just might get to find out what a nice guy David Merk is since he's been known to attend.

Evan Dalziel of eFriendly is a frequent attendee of those meetings, too, plus the monthly Multi-Chamber Young Professionals events. And you should see him at Heritage Day if you decide to partake in a Brighten Beer during the day since he's volunteered to work that tent!

Then there's the lucky Looper Community Subscriber who snatched up an OUTSTANDING first-come/first-serve "find the Easter egg" offer courtesy of Rhythm & Roots Farm!

(Seriously, I hope all you subscribers out there are opening your emails right away on the 1st and 15th of every month because you just never know what those new Easter egg offers will bring!)

And the Copley Car Show is more than just a fun day of checking out cool cars. It's also a great way to get involved in your community by volunteering an hour or so of your time.

Or maybe, like, six hours of your time, like Evan did for Heritage Day.

You know what? If you get to know Evan, maybe don't mention the six hours. You know, in case he hasn't done that math...
