On the Road of Life…

Planning ahead is not a natural talent I have (as evidenced by the layer of dust collecting on my crock pot). Planning is something I've had to practice. And while I may never break the habit of deciding what's for dinner at about the time we need to start fixing it, I have come a surprisingly long way.

Plus, I now know lots of people who know how to help!

One such people is Mr. Money Man himself, Matt Mize of Primerica. He sent me a link to add to his profile on The Loop, therealhowmoneyworks.com, and it has all sorts of handy videos and a FREE digital book that's so chock full of lessons on how to manage money that I'm totally sending it to my kids.

They'll thank me someday.

When you download the book, you'll see right there on page 2, "We believe a financial education should be free." That way, you learn to choose what's right for you, then give Matt a call to get the ball rolling on the solutions you need!

Super important planning help, that planning for financial success, and I'm super happy to welcome Matt so he can provide just that!

And, hey, you know what other planning help is important, particularly in Ohio in June..?

Shoutout to The Winery at Wolf Creek for recently posting the following public notice from the Summit County Engineer:

So, see? Cleveland-Massillon may be closed at the rock cut for about 30 days but you can still get to your favorite local winery, you just might need to plan for an extra couple of minutes to make it there!

And for those of you wondering about Carl Harp Nursery, located right across the road from Wolf Creek, I can confirm that the nursery itself will be closed for a bit but you can start keeping your eyes out for Carl to be back at the Barberton and Norton farmers markets once his produce is ready around mid-July.

Because that's his plan, and it sounds like a good one to me!

Movie Night collage

Plus: Movie Night at the Park!

While you're at all this planning ahead, don't forget to plan for a fun night with the fam at Copley Community Park this Saturday!

Not only will there be a nighttime viewing of The Super Mario Bros movie, but the evening begins with The Ice Bucket Food Truck and The Goods Band, a Cleveland area cover band of 90s Rock/Alt/Pop. Plus, the littles can enjoy the Great Lakes National Puppet Theater's presentation of "Goldilocks and The Three Bears".
