Sending All the Anniversary Wishes
It's a busy time of year for Loop anniversaries, and we have FIVE to recognize today! Help us send the warmest of wishes to:
Brookdale Montrose
Brookdale has been in the Akron area for over 30 years and is a retirement community that offers three levels of care: independent living, assisted living, and memory care. And I'm not gonna lie, I love what I do, but looking at their website and Facebook page tends to make me look forward to my own retirement years.
But if you, like me, are not ready to retire... turns out they're hiring! Check out the Opportunities list below.
Miller Art & Music
Scott and Linda Miller have made art and music their life's work and as someone who long dreamed of doing just that, I love that I get to help you learn about them through our Maker Member page. And coming soon, you can learn about them in person during the Holiday Hop because Miller Art & Music is going to be a stop!
Normally, they operate on more of an appointment/class time type of schedule but they'll be having a two-day open house during the weekend of the Holiday Hop. It's an excellent excuse to stop by whether you're hopping the stops or not!
SeibertKeck Insurance Partners
SeibertKeck was founded in Akron in 1910 and has grown to over 160 employees across 19 locations in Ohio and Florida. But with that growth, they do an amazing job of staying grounded in their communities by giving back.
Case in point: There are new Happenings in the list below, and one of those new Happenings is the Donation Drive that SeibertKeck is hosting at all of their locations during the month of November! Follow the link in the list to learn more.
Senn's Custom Laser Engraving
A second one of our Maker Members, Senn's has been taunting me with their engraved rolling pins since they first joined The Loop back in 2020. I was considering an attempt at bumping up my baking skills to pie crust levels.
I only managed to reaffirm my status of best brownie baker in the house but my family claims that's award-worthy status. I'd need a custom one, of course. Perhaps in the shape of a glass dish that can be used to make the brownies. (Someone please remind my family that Christmas is coming and custom orders take time...)
Uniquely Inspired Gift Baskets
Our final anniversary wish goes out to our third Maker Member, Dion Stentz of Uniquely Inspired Gift Baskets! Dion not only hustles like nobody's business, but her business is making absolutely beautiful custom gift baskets.
Her Holiday Catalogue is up on her website, but don't miss checking out her Ohio-, Cleveland-, and Akron-themed baskets. After all, a basket full of buckeyes just might be better than brownies!
