Rescheduled Bicentennial Event this Sunday!

Hey, remember that time a tropical storm came to Copley and caused a major Bicentennial event to be rescheduled?

We do, too, and that rescheduled day is next Sunday, the 30th!

The schedule remains the same and will go as follows:

  • The Copley Creekside Farmers Market will be open from 1:00 until 6:00 for your veggie-drawer-stocking and event-viewing-snack needs.
  • cornhole tournament, sponsored by the Copley United Methodist Church, will begin bracket play at 1:00. No registration or equipment needed - bags and boards will be provided. Prizes include bragging rights for an entire year!
  • Drawing for the chalk art contest begins at 1:00 and judging will be at 5:00. No registration needed - participants will be assigned a spot when they sign in at the market's Information booth and chalk will be available. Those wishing to use their own chalk must use non-oil-based stick sidewalk chalk. Prizes include shirts and Market Money from the Copley Creekside Farmers Market!
  • And at 3:00, the Akron Black Stockings face the Canal Fulton Mules in a game of vintage baseball. Come watch a game the way it used to be played!

For more information, please visit the Bicentennial website or the Facebook event page.

See you Sunday for some Classic Pastime fun!
