Places to Go, Things to Do… – The Loop In Copley

This week is AAALLLLLL about the happenings and opportunities coming at you from our members because there are quite a few that you don't see often!

For happenings, for instance, you've got the annual District Art Show and spring play courtesy of Copley-Fairlawn City Schools. You've got a fundraiser for Copley Outreach courtesy of Penguin Ice Cream. And you've got an Open House in Fairlawn's Merchant Square courtesy of Alloy Fairlawn, Conscious Wellness, and The Tilted Olive.

And as for the opportunities, we have a few new job openings added to the list below but there's a reason I went for the photo of woodworking tools up there...

I just learned today that REM Installations has an apprenticeship program and couldn't resist pointing that out! They're also looking to hire experienced workers so find more info on all their opportunities (along with those of other members) on The Loop's Employment page.

And last but most certainly not least, there's news on the Heritage Day front: This year's celebrations will include a brand new Community Art Exhibition and the committee has put out the call for artists!

They're also ready to start signing up vendors so whether you're an artist looking to submit your work for the show or a vendor looking to save yourself a space for Saturday, you'll find all the info you need (including contact info for those potentially unanswered questions) on their website, copleyheritageday.org.

I tell you what, to use one of my mom's favorite phrases... we're all keeping "busy, busy, busy" in The Loop!
