Phew! What a Whirlwind…

Another year, another whirlwind weekend to wrap up a year's worth of planning, and it was a beautiful day for it! Thank you so much to everyone who came out on Saturday to shop the vendors, get to know local businesses and non-profits, enjoy the games and inflatables and entertainment, and to meet up with friends and neighbors for some good ol' summertime fun.

And while I'm in appreciation mode...

Thanks to our newest member, Conrad Daniel of Truly Heal Wellness, for becoming a member just in time to join us in the Loop Tent!

Conrad opened recently in Copley Commons to offer a whole host of services promoting whole-body wellness such as personal training and corrective exercise, but it was the chair massages he was giving on Saturday that got everyone's true appreciation.

I'm kicking myself for not signing up for one, that would have been awesome!

Then there's Maker Member Lisa Naymik of Moonshine Arts. Huge thanks go to Lisa for her countless hours of organizing the Community Art Exhibition, it's been a fabulous addition to the Heritage Day festivities!

The exhibition will remain on display at Brighten Brewing Company through September 10th. Check it out in person, then visit the Gallery page of the Copley Heritage Days website to vote for your favorite piece, purchase a raffle ticket for the framed Signature Image print, or to purchase a print of any awarded artwork.

And as much "congratulations" as "thanks" go to Erin Johnson, eXp Realty - Erin is a Loop Member, sure, but she's also a Looper Community Subscriber. She claimed the Easter egg offer in the last subscriber email, earning herself $10 worth of raffle tickets in each of three different raffles happening on Saturday. Rumor has it she won more than one prize!

And last but most certainly not least, a great big shoutout of thanks to Copley Township for their support for such a grand endeavor and to the volunteers of the Copley Heritage Day Committee for taking it on. It truly is worth such efforts.

And believe it or not, planning for 2024 has already begun - if you would like to pitch in from the beginning to make next year a success, you would be most welcome! Find information about the next committee meeting in the list of Happenings below.

Yard Signs!

If you got one of these little beauties, please don't throw them away or stash them in your garage to be forgotten! They can be dropped off at Copley Town Hall, or you may reply to this email to make arrangements for them to be picked up.

And thank you, too!
