New Members for Moving In
Have I ever told you my favorite fact about Copley Township? I'm sure I have, but for our newer friends following along out there...
My favorite fact about Copley is that the township did a survey in 2017 and one of the questions was "Would you recommend Copley Township to your family and friends as a good place to live?"
Well, the question isn't what makes it my favorite, but the answer is. 96% of those surveyed said "Yes".
NINETY-SIX PERCENT!
That's awesome.
So for those of you recommending Copley to their family and friends, I'm happy to say we have two new members that can help them move here when they're ready!
If those family and friends are looking for the easy convenience of single-story apartment homes, Redwood Living offers two such neighborhoods in Copley, one off of Ridgewood Rd. and one off of Heritage Woods Dr.
Or, if they're more in the market for a home they can own, Footprints Property Inspections, LLC can ease their minds that the one they've found isn't hiding unsafe secrets. In fact, even anyone who's lived in their home for a while might want to reach out for radon testing - I've heard those levels can change over time!
You'll find listings for Redwood, Footprints, and all sorts of other handy helpers for anyone on the move at loopincopley.com so while you're recommending, remember to include The Loop!

Plus: Events of Note
Last week's newsletter all about volunteering seemed to strike a chord! We saw all sorts of clicking activity so I'm thinking quite a few of you might be looking for ways to get involved.
That's why I want to make sure you all see the Neighborhood Ambassador/Copley Community Volunteers meeting happening at Town Hall on Thursday!
"The agenda includes updates on the new Joint Police and Fire Safety Facility, information on “Projects on the Move in Copley Township”; opportunities to get involved in your community and a schedule of community events for which we need volunteers!"
Then, on Saturday, it's time for the Farmers' Share Breakfast at Copley High School. If you've never been, the idea is that for just $1, you get pancakes with real maple syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and milk, water, or coffee.
And why just $1? To point out that $1 is just about the amount the farmer receives for that whole meal. Proceeds benefit the Akron Canton Food Bank, but we all benefit from that perspective!
