Members & You Making It Happen

I'd like to thank the Copley Bandstand Sunday Concert Committee as well as our two new members for inspiring the theme of this week's newsletter.

For starters (and for those of you not following along on the socials), the committee is getting ready to plan their 2022 Sunday Concert season.

Getting their acts together, so to speak.

They've put the word out that they're looking for new members and volunteers so if that happens to be a volunteer opportunity that speaks to you, check out the Volunteer page of The Loop for more info.

And then we have Paul Frey of Edward Jones who can advise you on how to handle all those pesky little financial things like "Retirement Savings Strategies", "Insurance & Annuities" and "Socially Conscious Investing" that appear to be an important part of that whole "adulting" thing we've all heard so much about.

If that doesn't speak to us all getting our acts together, I don't know what does!

Finally, we have Travis Moore of Moore Recruiting, an IT professional with 15 years of experience who says he understands "who fits where when it comes to resources and staffing needs." He also says he's "Helping people find their calling. Helping businesses find resources."

You know what that sounds like to me? That sounds to me like a man with his own act together who's helping other people and businesses do the same!

And, hey, if you groaned and rolled your eyes (maybe adding a charitable giggle) as you read this week's theme play out, even as you saw how perfectly it worked, that's okay. I won't hold it against you.

I might even have done the same (but with more giggle) as I typed.
