Magic Tricks and Halloween Treats

So, I was planning to write all about Halloween in the Park this week because OH, MY GOODNESS, I'M SO EXCITED IT'S BACK BECAUSE IT'S SUCH A FUN EVENT!

(They say it's for kids 10 and under but I've seen plenty of grownups get into the spirit. Even myself and truth be told, I would have been totally fine skipping Halloween as a kid if it weren't for the candy.)

Of course, I was also going to mention Trick-or-Treat in the township being on Sunday because... it's Trick-or-Treat!

But then I discovered the Hip Hop Halloween Party at Brighten Brewing Company and HAD to mention that, too, because that sounds like the perfect way for the kids who are well over 10 to celebrate the occasion.

And then... and THEN... get this... We find ourselves welcoming a new member who does MAGIC TRICKS!

David Garza of Lake Erie Illusions is "a professional magician who entertains adults with walk-around strolling close-up magic and small stage shows."

I've personally been tricked by David more than once - he's given the Copley Chamber a sample of his skills at a few meetings!

Wouldn't it be cool to be out and about in the township one day (maybe even at Firehouse Tavern, hoster of trivia nights and celebrater of an anniversary in The Loop...) and stumble across a magical street show?

That would be, dare I say, such a treat!
