Finding the Shared Space

It was just last Thursday that Summit County hit that unfortunate red level. And obviously, while we're all eager to do all the things we love doing, we certainly don't want to go purple and force our favorite local businesses to close all over again!

So now is not the time to be letting our guards down on either preventing the spread or supporting small businesses. And this week, we have two businesses giving us three good excuses to find the shared space we need between safety and standard summertime fun.

Starting with The Winery at Wolf Creek... every summer, they host Yappy Hours on Tuesdays to support local animal-related organizations. They also host live music on some Mondays and Wednesdays to support, well... live music! This week, the organization is Mercy's Door Pet Rescue and the music is Before the Shine.

Meanwhile, The Market Path had been hosting The Artful Cricket about once a month until back in March. That hosting went on hold for a bit but she's finally back this Saturday! Appointments need to be made ahead of time, though, so be sure to call soon so you don't miss out on your summertime henna tattoo.

Of course, some of you may be eager to support these businesses but maybe not so much during such potentially-busier times, and that's okay. Simply visit their websites to find out their operating hours and if you still have questions, they'll surely be happy to answer them if you call!
