Empty Bowl Event This Friday

Two things that are kind of a big deal in our house, especially when made by hand: Soups and Ceramics.

So you can imagine that when I first heard about Empty Bowl events a decade or so ago, I instantly fell in love with the idea!

If you've never heard of these events, the gist is this: You buy tickets (the proceeds of which benefit a local food-based charity) and when you go, you pick out a handmade and/or handpainted ceramic bowl, you enjoy a delicious soup dinner, and then you get to take your bowl home as a memento.

And now, guess what?

Copley Outreach has organized an Empty Bowl event and it's happening this Friday night!

You better believe I got us a couple of tickets. I hope to see you there!
