Custom Comfort is Queen (times two)

This week, The Loop has two new members and both are ladies who are not only doing cool things that bring comfort, they're doing them in cool custom ways!

Julie Katz is The Extra Daughter, here to help older adults "like their kids would, if they could." She'll provide transportation, companionship, meals, pet care, and even advocacy during appointments if that's what's needed.

Plus, Julie's full of all sorts of helpful information, and she's putting it out there for us all in a blog and on Facebook! It's nice to know that she's out there answering questions and reminding us of important things we might forget, like to check on older adults during bad weather or that technology can be a barrier to scheduling a vaccine appointment.

The types of services that Julie provides can be such a comfort to families, being there when they can't, and helping older adults stay in their homes longer.

And speaking of homes...

Dawne Paris from Between The Seams has her design team at-the-ready to help make your home more comfortable!

Most of us have been feeling the need to upgrade a few things and cozy-up our homes over the past year, but not many of us have the ability or the know-who to handle textile projects. Well, now we do, and that "who" is Between The Seams!

Dawne's team can "professionally design and fabricate, window treatments, bedding, pillows, seat cushions, and more!" And if you're looking for some inspiration, you'll definitely find it by scrolling through their work on their website. (Side note: I discovered them on Instagram some time back and have found myself giving the side-eye to the blinds that came with my house ever since...)

These two new Loop members may provide very different types of services but there's no doubt that each brings comfort in her own way. And that, my friends, is quite the crowning achievement.
