As Copley’s only local craft brewery, Brighten Brewing proudly serves the Copley community, one quality brew at a time. Co-owners, Tom Robbins and Elliott Pickett, who both grew up in the area and graduated from Firestone High School, opened Brighten Brewing in June 2021 after discovering a shared ambition. Tom brought his ample education and experience in craft brewing, as well as a vision and plan to open his own brewery. Elliott, who had been working to run and grow his family’s long-standing Copley business, Walter Properties, joined him with the goal of further expanding the Copley business community.
Brighten’s large, rustic space includes a large seating area and bar, an outdoor patio, and an open brewing area that allows customers to feel like they’re part of the brewing process. With a rotating tap featuring 10 beers at a time, customers can enjoy everything from traditional and seasonal brews to creative and specialty brews, all of which feature Tom’s skill, creativity, and commitment to quality. In addition to the Taproom, Brighten also sells 16-ounce cans, providing a to-go option for customers. You can also find Brighten on tap at various other local businesses in the area. Earlier this year, Brighten introduced food to their menu and now serve a variety of delicious appetizers, sandwiches, and salads.
We are proud members of the Copley Chamber of Commerce and really enjoy being involved in the community with our fellow local businesses. We have especially enjoyed participating in traditional community events like Copley Heritage Days and Taste of Copley.
