Anniversaries, Small Screens, & Scholarships
Two Anniversary Shoutouts
We have a whole lotta members in The Loop, covering a wide range of community needs, and two of those members are celebrating their Loop anniversaries!
First up, we have Alpha Background Investigations, offering a full list of verifications, screenings, checks, and tests in order to help companies with their hiring processes.
Because trust is important, but sometimes it's wise to verify.
And second, we have the Copley Outreach Center, a valuable resource that's been "supporting our community one family at a time" since 1995. They do amazing work, but they could always use help to do it! Check out their website for a handful or so of easy ideas.
Two Members on the Small Screen!
And in case you missed 'em on the small screen... we have two more members that have enjoyed some time in the spotlight!
Back in December, Somerville Antiques was featured on New Day Cleveland! You can watch the spot and enjoy listening to Melissa Somerville talk about the shop (while catching glimpses of some of the treasures you just might find if you visit!) right here on YouTube.
Meanwhile... do you Hulu? Because if you do, you can watch Michael P. Lamarca of Master Pizza compete on "Best in Dough"! We don't want to spoil the ending or anything but let's just say that their pizza may or may not have won just a few awards (per year) over the years...
One Scholarship Opportunity
Copley Township recently posted some VERY interesting info on their Facebook page...
It seems that students living in a township can apply for scholarships through the Ohio Township Association!
This year, three different $1500 scholarships - the Academic Achievement Scholarship, the Local Government Achievement Scholarship, and the new Trade School Scholarship - will be awarded to a total of five different students.
Click here for more information, but be sure to do so ASAP - the deadline to apply is January 31st!
