A Trifecta of Membership!

This week's new member announcements make me feel like a serious winner because it just so happens we hit the new member trifecta with 1 new Business, 1 new Maker Member, and 1 new Destination. Please welcome...

Business: SeibertKeck Insurance Partners
Located on Market Street near Miller Road, SeibertKeck Insurance Partners holds a pretty impressive list of credentials. Just take a look at their Loop profile and count how many "top" lists they've made and you'll see what I mean!

But that's not been my favorite part of getting to know them. Aside from discovering that they started in Akron in 1910 and now employ 160 people across 19 locations, my favorite part about them is learning how much they give back to their community.

In fact, find them on Facebook and you'll count more charitable events they've been involved in just during the past few months than the number of "top" lists they've made. That kind of community support makes for the best credentials in my book!

Maker Member: Whimsy Type
Amber Parana of Whimsy Type makes me wish I'd progressed past that Crayola calligraphy set I had as a kid. I don't remember how I came across her Instagram, but I've been following her for over a year now and still marvel at her steady hand and fluid handwriting!

Amber says she creates "Perfectly imperfect handlettered gifts and decor". I say her ornaments, doormats, pumpkins, and globes are awesome and it's not at all surprising that she's had over 2,500 sales. It's easy to imagine all sorts of occasions when what she makes would make the perfect gift.

I'm thrilled to have her on the Maker Member page so I can officially share my love of her lettering. Plus, since both The Whimsical Pig and Weitzel's Whimseys moved away last year, I've totally missed having a member with "whimsy" in their name!

Destination: Brighten Brewing Company
Copley Township FINALLY got its very own brewery and it was well worth the wait! Brighten Brewing Company is just about the best repurpose of a space ever and offers a wide variety of beers to suit every taste.

Some of those beers even have suitably Copley names ranging from the obvious (Tropi-Copley) to the not-so-obvious (Ric). And if you don't already know then I have to tell you that OMG THEY HAVE LAWSON'S CHIP DIP!

If you also don't already know then I also have to tell you that Brighten has cool things happening all the time. You'll find a few of those happenings in The Loop's list of Happenings (ahem... hint hint ⇊) on occasion but I highly recommend following them on the socials for the full account.
