A September for Staying Awake

Apologies for the potential earworm-inducing Green Day reference but I just couldn't help myself because today, I have two reasons to take in the month of September as a whole and to encourage you to not sleep clear through until it ends.

Reason #1: The Copley Chamber of Commerce
If you're not a member and so did not receive an email from the Copley Chamber of Commerce yesterday, then you should know that they've got a lot going on!

There's a new lunch order option for in-person meetings kicking off next week with Purposeful Eats. There's also a Chamber + Loop Member Meet-Up happening actually AT Purposeful Eats later in the month. And on the 15th, there's a multi-organizational networking event at a Rubberducks game with a portion of the ticket sales benefitting the Copley Outreach Center.

See? A lot, it's all good, and much of it is open to members and non-members alike!

Find more information on all of the above on the Copley Chamber website or on the Loop Calendar.

Reason #2: The Akron Zoo
It's Community Days at the Akron Zoo and in case you haven't heard, the dates are no longer broken down by communities - Summit County residents can visit for free any day during September!

Of course, tickets will need to be reserved in advance (there will not be any available at the door) and they're limited so you might want to go ahead and start planning then visit the Akron Zoo website to reserve your tickets before they're gone!

Happy September, my friends, and remember... you can always go to sleep when it ends.
