A Little Loop Trivia For You

For the past several weeks, I have increasingly marveled at the number of events on the Loop Calendar.

I mean, it's only the end of March and we're already at 149! At this rate, we might just surpass the 2020 year-end total of 188 before some of us have finished stashing away all our winter clothes.

Not that 2020 is necessarily a fair comparison, or that some of us ever really finish stashing away all our winter clothes, but still... Our highest year-end total was 393 in 2019 (our first full Loop year!) and I wouldn't be at all surprised if we doubled that this year.

Events have come back, sure, but we also have more Loop Members to host them. 78 of them, in fact! That's more than double the members we had this time last year.*

And more Loop Members and more events happening doesn't just mean more places to go and more fun things to do. It also means more Employment and Volunteer opportunities.

The Employment page has grown so much in the past six months or so, and the Volunteer page is poised to do the same. There's already a terrific need for CERT volunteers and then there'll be the car show and bandstand concerts and Heritage Days yet to come...
