A Conscious Referral for Wellness
Do you know what I love? I love that spirit of collaboration, cooperation, and community that comes from shared interests. And today, we welcome a new member who comes to us thanks to that very spirit!
Dr. Julie Pyle of Conscious Wellness reached out to us a while back after Amanda Kostura of Carve Your Own Path, Inc., suggested that it might be worth her while.
And now here we are!
Both members are focused on wellness, and both do offer reiki, but Carve Your Own Path, Inc. then turns towards mental health with services like counseling and art therapy while the services of Conscious Wellness turn towards the physical with chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage.
So I've been following Conscious Wellness on Instagram and here's something cool I learned just two days ago: "Chiropractors obtain their doctorate degree after 8 years of schooling to understand all aspects of biology, anatomy and physiology (and much more) to best understand how to treat you."
Also...? We all know that acupuncture involves little needles poked into strategic places but looking at her link for booking appointments, I learned that "[t]his activates responses in your body’s immune, circulatory, nervous, and endocrine systems, which helps the body heal naturally."
I'll be honest, I'd not really thought much before about how much school a chiropractor needs or why acupuncture works, but I'm very glad to know.
And we're all very glad to be welcoming Dr. Julie to The Loop!
