There's a brand new restaurant opening soon at Copley Circle, and it's bringing you southern comfort food with a twist!
Twisted Grill and Grind is the next step for Julianna Trunko, owner of the Southern Thangs Food Truck. Julianna has been a police officer in Wakeman, Huron County, for 18 years and in 2008, she started Cops 4 Kids with Autism in order to connect officers with families with autistic children and ease the stress of emergency situations. Southern Thangs began as a new way to support the program in 2014 and now Twisted will do the same in 2019!
This restaurant is all about family with sharable family meals, a "mom's corner", and even a pooch-friendly porch. There will be your classic pizza and jo-jos, your Southern Thangs favorites like gator bites and deep-fried deviled eggs, and your new favorites like Twisted breadsticks, smash salads, and from-scratch ketchup and mustard. You'll even be able to satisfy your sweet tooth with house-made baked goods and hard-packed ice creams, and wash it all down with Craft 62 Sodas and specialty hot cocoas! With all that, there will even be keto- and vegan-friendly options on the menu.
So get ready to visit Twisted Grill and Grind soon, the place where "We're all a little Twisted but in the end, we're always family!"
